The Blue Heron logo on the sail is a made from insignia cloth purchased on line.  It is the same stuff used to put numbers on sails for cub racing boats.  It has worked great.  I took a photo from google and printed it kinkos blew the picture up to the size i wanted and then used it as a pattern to cut the heron in flight.  The cloth has adhesive on one side and has held up really well.
